Weekend Rewind

The name of the game is consolidation. And in an attempt to do just that we help a humongeous yard sale. And I promised that we would never acquire that much stuff again. Things I haven't seen in 3 years and that had no meaning to me whatsoever were sold for pennies....but all in all we made right at $600.....which is about 1/4 of a plane ticket....but it's a start!

After we cleaned up from that we hopped in the van and made our way to Tallassee, AL where 12 years ago Jonathan and I really kicked off our ministry together.

It was great to see some old friends and some of the places where we shared some really special times (like our wedding!).

And of course we shed a tear for The Hotel Talisi that is no more.....home of the best fried chicken and the only catfish that I ever liked. And it hosted a pretty wicked wedding reception 9 years ago...

Church Sunday morning was really good. Jonathan delivered a powerful message and God moved in a mighty way. If all works out we may be able to go back before we leave.
After we ate we headed over to Lagrange GA where Jonathan preached at a youth service. Great times hanging out with Justin and Nathan and all the students. All in all an amazing day. Looking forward to what God has in store for us this week.....He's up to something big.
